The Kangaroo

During our visit to the zoo, we had the opportunity to see a Kangaroo there. Taking picture of an animal like a kangaroo that is being enclosed in a protective cage like a cyclone fence is not the easiest setting to take the best photos without having any interference of the fencing. But I managed to get some shots focusing more on the Kangaroo and less on the wire fencing right in front of me.

Water Works Like Magic

One of my favorite subject to photograph is anything that is in the water. You can find different items in oceans and lakes that will create magical and beautiful photographs like birds, boats, and human activities. Some of the most stunning water sceneries are taken during sunset and/or sunrise where the the sun creates special effects in the surrounding and objects of interest. by JazeVox

A Calm Day At The Beach

During regular days, a busy beach lake with lots of boat traffic, humans, and animals, aside from having regular windy days, one can constanly see waves travelling towards the shore. But on a completely calm day with hardly no air movement in the atmosphere, sitting in front of the same lake display a completely different scenery. It is amazing to see a normally busy lake in complete calmness, hardly any movement in the water, no sign of wind making waves. It is so calm you can see some reflections of the boats from afar even if the weather is quite hazy and gloomy.

With hardly any wind, no big constant waves are created. But a sudden movement in the water like a boat passing by or a bird dipping in the water to grabbed a fish can produce a series of little waves that noticeably travels through the water.

The Silhouette Effect

In a particular spot that have a regular beautiful sunset, having huge oak trees blocking the view can totally obstruct the amazing sunset scenery. But on the positive note, having the sun behind all the big chunks of branches creates a nice and dramatic silhouette effect and give emphasis on the character of each of the different tree branches.
